Graphic Design (B.S.)

Theory meets application in this hands-on program where you'll craft a stand apart portfolio and lay the framework for a successful design career. 

Advertising Art (A.A.A.)

This two-year program builds strong foundational design skills and proficiency in graphic design for print and interactive media. 

Minors & Immersions

Pair a minor with any bachelor's degree, or an immersion with any bachelor's or associate's degree.

Students' masks on display through Tuesday

Handcrafted wooden masks created by Penn College students enrolled in Wood Sculpture are on display in the lobby of The Gallery at Penn College. The students’ talents complement the gallery’s current exhibition of woodcarvings by Mary Michael Shelley. Both exhibits are available for viewing through Tuesday, Nov. 26. Remaining hours are: Noon to 4 p.m. Friday; 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday; and 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Penn College classes add global travel to students’ education

Supporting Pennsylvania College of Technology’s mission to equip future leaders with real-world experience, faculty members led students in exploring new parts of that world through six 2024 Global Experience classes. In Europe, students explored the origin and future of objects of their study, and in Latin America, they used their budding skills to serve others. Around 135 students participated in the classes.

‘Life of Brian’ comes ‘Full Circle’

Illustrator Brian Lutz returned to his alma mater for two days of inspirational exchanges. The 2008 advertising art grad engaged students in hands-on work in two Illustration classes, delivered a public lecture in Penn’s Inn and answered questions during a reception in The Gallery at Penn College, where his “Full Circle” exhibit in on display through Oct. 4. It was in the gallery and his classes that Lutz was first inspired to pursue a career in illustration, so the exhibit’s title is an apt description.
